This website is dedicated to The USS Theodore E. Chandler, and to my grandfather and his shipmates during their deployments to Korea in the early 1950’s
I never knew my grandfather, Thomas (Sonny) Marcum and I hope to learn more about him and his service through this project. As he was the ship’s corpsman you may known him as “Doc”. He took many Kodachrome slides during his time abord the Chandler and I would like to put names to his shipmates in these photos
